Balmoral Tanks Ltd is a leading European engineering design and manufacturing company. As a result of significant investment in people and plant, the company produces what is believed to be the most comprehensive range of tank products available for a single source in the EU.

We are looking for Despatch Operators to join the team at our Manufacturing facility in Llantrisant.

The jobholder is responsible for daily reviews of current look-ahead programs, when required ordering raw materials and BIP stock items through our approved supply chain structure and communicate planned deliveries to the wider team ensuring set Min, Max levels are always correct and supply chain are keeping pre-agreed lead times to the business.

Role Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the accuracy of stock within the stores area, and additional areas when required.
  • Conduct and control weekly PI investigations inline with operating systems and provide detailed explanations of any and all variance recorded in line with procedures.
  • Maintain accurate stock receipt at all times / issue records and report on any relevant minimum / maximum monthly movements.
  • Accurately monitor minimum and maximum stock levels to ensure the efficient dispatch of completed jobs a OTIF measure of BIP area.
  • Responsible for all good’s inwards quarantine and inspection prior to implementation of stock onto operating system.
  • Responsible for the day to day running of the internal stores and BIP stock areas.
  • When required assist in picking job kits from BOM’s for despatching from site.

The shift pattern is Mon – Fri days.
