Balmoral Comtec Ltd, a division of Balmoral Group, provides surface and subsurface buoyancy, insulation and elastomer products and services to the global energy, defence, subsea communications and oceanographic industries.
We are looking for a HR Administrator to provide administrative support to the Human Resources department. This will be a busy and varied role covering all aspects of the HR function including recruitment, training, benefits, new starts and providing general support to the HR Team.
Main Duties
General
- Create Personnel files for all new starts.
- Ensuring that all personnel files are kept up to date.
- Request references for all new personnel.
- Responsible for informing relevant departments of new starts and ensuring all induction paperwork is complete.
- Responsible for presenting the HR Induction programme and updating it as and when required.
- Focal point for Safety Glasses. Advise employees on procedures/complete relevant documentation.
- Maintain Drivers Licence Checks.
- Assist with the administration of shift changes.
- Update the HR Information Boards
- Check HR Department general voicemail/ emails .
Recruitment
- Assist HR Team in the recruitment of all disciplines liaising with Managers and agencies where required.
- Maintain the recruitment website ensuring all new roles are advertised and closed roles are taken off in a timely manner.
- Collate and respond to all speculative applications for employment in a timely manner
- Responsible for managing the recruitment e-mail.
- Assist in arranging interviews for potential candidates.
- Maintain the Agency spreadsheet.
- Ensure internal adverts are displayed throughout the business.
Training
- Booking of medical appointments/ Training courses as and when required.
- Maintain the Training & Supplier Record.
- Ensure that all certificates are received for completed courses.
Qualifications
Required:
- Good standard of general education
Experience
Desirable:
- Previous experience in an administrative role
Skills/Training
Required:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages
- Good organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent Communication skills
