Balmoral Comtec Ltd, a division of Balmoral Group, provides surface and subsurface buoyancy, insulation and elastomer products and services to the global energy, defence, subsea communications and oceanographic industries.

We are looking for a HR Administrator to provide administrative support to the Human Resources department. This will be a busy and varied role covering all aspects of the HR function including recruitment, training, benefits, new starts and providing general support to the HR Team.

 

Main Duties

General

  • Create Personnel files for all new starts.
  • Ensuring that all personnel files are kept up to date.
  • Request references for all new personnel.
  • Responsible for informing relevant departments of new starts and ensuring all induction paperwork is complete.
  • Responsible for presenting the HR Induction programme and updating it as and when required.
  • Focal point for Safety Glasses. Advise employees on procedures/complete relevant documentation.
  • Maintain Drivers Licence Checks.
  • Assist with the administration of shift changes.
  • Update the HR Information Boards
  • Check HR Department general voicemail/ emails .

 

Recruitment

  • Assist HR Team in the recruitment of all disciplines liaising with Managers and agencies where required.
  • Maintain the recruitment website ensuring all new roles are advertised and closed roles are taken off in a timely manner.
  • Collate and respond to all speculative applications for employment in a timely manner
  • Responsible for managing the recruitment e-mail.
  • Assist in arranging interviews for potential candidates.
  • Maintain the Agency spreadsheet.
  • Ensure internal adverts are displayed throughout the business.

 

Training

  • Booking of medical appointments/ Training courses as and when required.
  • Maintain the Training & Supplier Record.
  • Ensure that all certificates are received for completed courses.

 

 

Qualifications

Required:           

  • Good standard of general education

 

Experience

 

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role

 

Skills/Training

 

Required:           

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages
  • Good organisational and administrative skills
  • Excellent Communication skills
