Balmoral Tanks Ltd is a leading Global engineering design and manufacturing company. As a result of significant investment in people and plant, the company produces what is believed to be the most comprehensive range of tank products available for a single source in the EU.

We require a Logistics Coordinator to join our busy team in Llantrisant, South Wales.

Brief Description of the job’s function

This is a busy & varied role within the production office covering a number of different aspects, including:

  • Arrange transport for deliveries of tanks, parts and other goods leaving site
  • Preparation of dispatch notes/ labels and other documentation for dispatches
  • Issuing of picking priority lists and BOMS to factory operatives
  • Ad hoc duties within the operations team.

Experience:

  • Previous experience within a Logistics Coordinating role is desirable
  • Ability to prepare and analyse data, both numerical and graphical.
  • Ability to work across departments & achieve positive results.

 

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong organisational and decision-making skills is essential. 
  • Excellent inter-personal skills.
  • First class planning & organisational skills.
  • Good presentation, written and oral communication skills.
  • Innovative thinker and commercially aware advantageous.
  • Must be willing to develop interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be computer literate particularly in Microsoft Excel and Word.
