Balmoral Tanks Ltd is a leading European engineering design and manufacturing company. As a result of significant investment in people and plant, the company produces what is believed to be the most comprehensive range of tank products available for a single source in the EU.

Civil engineering, wastewater treatment, drainage, fuel oil containment, rainwater harvesting, bulk liquid, fire fighting and potable water storage sectors are all key sectors for the company.

We are looking for a Mutil-Skill Maintenance Engineer to join our team at this exciting time.

The post holder is expected to take preventive and reactive maintenance to all of the sites equipment. This must be done in a safe and competent manner in compliance with all relevant standards and procedures.



  • Ability to work within a team and as an effective member of staff.

  • Assisting in maintaining the cleanliness of plant machinery including a safe and tidy working environment.

  • Providing accurate feedback information including completing check sheets, routine inspection sheets containing durations of maintenance activities and observations.

  • Introduce and maintain a TPM procedure.

  • Manage an agreed maintenance budgets.

  • Repair equipment when needed, ensuring the downtime of any machinery is kept to a minimum.

  • Install any new machinery ensuring that it is done to manufacturer’s specifications.

  • Ensure all maintenance operations are carried out in accordance with quality specifications where applicable and adhering to all health and safety regulations at all times.

  • Call outs as and when required.

  • Cover all PAT testing on the site.

  • This is not an exhausted list of responsibilities; the job role may vary depending on the work load.

  • Mechanical & electrical HNC.

  • Good standard of secondary education.

  • 17th edition wiring regulations.

  • PAT testing.    



  • Previous experience within a similar role- min 10 years.

  • Basis electrical knowledge of machine tools.

  • PAT testing.

  • Previous experience with working with powder coating and metal pressing machinery
