Balmoral Tanks Ltd is a leading Global engineering design and manufacturing company. As a result of significant investment in people and plant, the company produces what is believed to be the most comprehensive range of tank products available for a single source in the EU. 

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to join us at our Thurnscoe Site. 

Brief Description of the role 

The Project Manager will ensure the efficient delivery of all projects from point of handover through to project completion.

Project Manager requires high levels of organisation, initiative, clear and concise communication skills.

In order to meet commitments to our customers, the job holder will liaise closely with respective departments including Sales, Design, Production, Quality, Finance and Despatch.

Main Duties  

Plan and manage the project from handover from the sales team to completion.

Update customers of contract status throughout the project process and responsively handle customer complaints, enquiries, queries, and requests. Typically following the Customer Communication Plan (CCP).

Update the project management system throughout course of the project ensuring system data is live. This includes key dates, checking milestones and ensuring costings and sales values are accurate.

Manage projects proactively: obtaining drawing approvals, ensure timely issuing of invoices, project variations, and collection of payment in accordance with the agreed customer payment terms.

Arrange supply of shipment of goods to UK sites and overseas destinations following company export procedures whilst observing project budgets.

Liaise with the Asset Manager and Subcontractors to create specific RAMS and ensure the necessary plant and equipment are on site during tank build(s).

Experience: 

  • The post holder will ideally have knowledge, experience and confidence managing, monitoring, and reporting on projects.
  • Experience of direct customer and supplier contact in a business-to-business environment.
  • Experience of export documents preferred.
  • Experience of construction preferred.
