Balmoral Tanks Ltd is a leading European engineering design and manufacturing company. As a result of significant investment in people and plant, the company produces what is believed to be the most comprehensive range of tank products available for a single source in the EU.

We are currently recruiting for a full time Receptionist to cover our state-of-the-art facility based in Thurnscoe. You will be the initial point of contact for all visitors & enquirers.

Main duties and responsibilities of the jobholder

  • Operate a safe working environment in line with company policies & procedures.
  • Maintaining records of personal development and training.
  • To answer the internal phone and switchboard phone in a professional and prompt manor, transferring calls to the appropriate person.
  • Where appropriate, take messages and ensure they get passed onto correct person at the earliest opportunity.
  • Distribute all incoming mail to the relevant person.
  • Take photocopies of documents when required.
  • Responsible for ordering stationary for the site, ensuring that the stationary cupboard is stocked.
  • Ensure the reception is always clean and tidy, as this is the first point of call for all visitors when they visit the site.
  • Dealing with confidential information.
  • Distributing enquiries from the company website to relevant departments.
  • Ensuring all postage including TNT is packaged & posted with in timescales.
  • Ensure all visitors are Covid compliant.
  • This is not an exhausted list of responsibilities; the job role may vary depending on the work load.
