Balmoral Comtec, a division of Balmoral Group, provides surface and subsurface buoyancy, insulation and elastomer products and services to the global energy, defence, subsea communications, and oceanographic industries.
We are looking for a Test Centre Operator to be responsible for setting up of tests, writing operational testing procedures and the analysis and presentation of test results in the form of reports.
Main Duties

Handling and slinging of products using O/H cranes, forklifts, pallet trucks etc.

Operation of pressure vessels and hydraulic equipment

Operation of PC’s for data logging and test reporting

Use of powered tools and hand tools
-
Maintenance, modification and repair of Test Centre equipment

Filling in of Timesheets at the end of each shift (daily) with the correct works numbers and time spent on the job.

You are responsible to help in maintaining cleanliness of all welfare facilities provided by the Company, i.e. Lockers/Canteen/Toilets and wash areas
Experience
Desirable:

Test experience in mechanical

Data acquisition/instrumentation knowledge

Experience of Pressure testing desirable but not essential.

Hydrostatic pressure testing

Gas pressure testing
