We are currently seeking a highly motivated Yard Person to join us at our Thurnscoe Site.
Brief Description of the role
This role is crucial in maintaining the organisation and functionality of our yard operations and the holder will be responsible for the upkeep of our outdoor facilities, handling materials, inspection of incoming goods, and ensuring a safe and clean environment.
Main Duties
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the yard and outdoor facilities.
Load and unload deliveries and move raw materials and finished goods to and from storage areas.
Check and inspect all goods received to ensure they meet the required quality and specifications and are in acceptable condition.
Assist with inventory checks and maintain detailed records of materials and equipment.
Log all returns from customers and to suppliers.
Empty skips and manage waste factory-wide.
Experience:
FLT License desirable
